Blech. I signed the petition – those ads are AWFUL.
Wow. Those are disturbing. I’ll have to sign that petition. I understand the point they are trying to make but wow, they could have gone about it another way.
I feel like I’ve seen one of these ads somewhere already… a magazine most likely.
Yeah, I too understand the point they are trying to make but OTOH I was for the breastfeeding ad council ads from a few years back and they were rather over the top too. (So I wonder, what makes those so different to me? I’ll have to ponder it lol) I don’t like the “Truth” ads, though, either. I don’t think stoking the guilt and shame factors in ads work very well, and if the breastfeeding ads had ever made it to market, they probably would have had a backlash too – something I would have hated to see.
Before I continue to contradict myself I’ll stop here. LOL
