Does anybody know of a yarn that matches the “India Red” color for Hanna Andersson? Preferably a cotton/cotton blend. I need to try and escape to the yarn store this weekend, but I am just having a hard time sitting on my hands right now. lol.

I work at a daycare/after-school program for children with disabilities and special needs. Some of my most beloved children are those with autism. They are such fantastic kiddos… and I am consequently fascinated with any research or literature I can find on the subject.
I have begun reading the book Autism and the God Connection by William Stillman; I haven’t had a chance to finish it (Sr. Education major… no time!). What I have read so far is so different from most of what I can get my hands on. It is written by a man with Asperger’s syndrome, and his main thesis is that children (and adults) with autism have a special connection with other people and with the Creator. I would recommend it, if you have time between living and raising your children!
