For months now it seemed like it couldn’t decide which season to be.  Today was finally, without a doubt, summer.  For the first time I went outside and could feel my skin prickling under the sun.  I have now had my fill of summer heat and we can move on to fall.  (somehow I don’t think that is happening though.  lol.  I hate heat.  I really am not a “summer” person at all and I hate how my skin feels like it is going to crawl away whenever I am out in the sun, and it is even worse when I put those horrible lotions on.  ugh)

I seem to sort of have my voice back today.  It is still very hoarse and squeaky, and I reverted to whispering quite a bit, but it is coming back.  Still didn’t have enough of a voice to make the mounting list of phone calls I need to, but I should be able to by later this week.

I took Zane to his Friendship group today.  He did so well he almost seemed more like a peer model to the other little girl because he did such a good job of waiting, following directions, and performing the tasks.  He has really matured in the last year, I almost can’t believe it is the same kids when I see him do so well in a situation like that.  I also see now why he gets all giddy when we ask him about her because she is just the sweetest little girl, and cute to boot.  She talks a lot more than he does, but that doesn’t take a whole lot.  lol.

I know what you mean about the summer. Between my allergies and Little Guy’s, I could do without the summer, and the second half of spring. I am such an autumn and winter person that I don’t even look good in spring/summer colors.

congrats to Zane for doing so well and I am glad you are feeling a bit better.
