Update on neighbor gal. They are not going to do a hysterectomy right now. They can’t. Beside the fact she is just too young to have one unless there are no other options, the cyst is a hemoraging cyst, and she could bleed out if she had surgery on it right now. She can’t even have a lap done to drain it because it is still active and would just refill. She is being put on birth control pills in hopes of shrinking it. If that doesn’t work, she will be put on some other meds. I have to wonder if it will be like the Endo meds I took for a while, which were pretty nasty. She also has pain meds for the mean time until it starts shrinking and the pain goes away (or at least lessens to a tolerable level).
She does seem to be feeling a little better today, so I am hoping the pain meds are helping her.
That stinks that there isn’t really anything they can do, but it’s good that she is seeming to feel better. I hope that they can figure out something. Have a good day.
God bless you and yours,
Beth
