Fast Food….Mennonite Style
Potato Knepp
The Ingredients (actually, about double the amount of potatoes because I took the picture while the potatoes were boiling)
Now…cube and boil the potatoes, cut up and fry the bacon, and make the egg noodles (two bags of Reames brand egg noodles are similar to the noodles my grandma and mom used to make…I cheat. lol ) according to package directions. Put it all in a big pot and cover with half & half. It is ‘ready’ as soon as it comes up to heat, but a whole lot better if it has been sitting for at least an hour or so. Great reheated too.

look delicious! Perhaps a bit of chive on top would make it divine.
yummy, it sounds kind of like perogies, only messier.
That sounds so totally yummy. Seems like it would be great comfort food.
